    Send the unmodified ORI read from the ECU. The platform reads the file and proposes the control unit it identified, for you to confirm or correct.

Frequently asked questions

What is an ORI file?

The original, unmodified file read from the control unit (ECU), for example with a bench or OBD tool. It is the starting point for every modification, so send it exactly as it was read.

What happens after I upload the file?

The platform reads the file and shows the control unit it identified for you to confirm or correct. You then choose the services, see the price in credits and submit the request. A specialist takes it from there.

How are the files processed?

By a specialist, by hand, based on your original. The platform organises the work but doesn't generate tuning files automatically. Each delivered file is published as a new MOD version.

How do credits work?

Services are priced in credits. You buy credit packages by card, and the price of a request is reserved when you submit it. On completion only the delivered services are charged; the rest returns to your wallet.

Can I ask for a correction?

Yes. Describe what needs changing in the request and the specialist prepares the next version (V2, V3…) in the same request. Services already delivered on the project aren't charged again.

Can I track my order?

Yes. Every request has a status (submitted, accepted, in progress, testing, ready), a history and a conversation with the specialist. You also get an email when the status changes or a new version is ready.

Are my files private?

Yes. Files are kept in private storage, available only to you and the team processing your request. Downloads use short-lived signed links, and emails never contain files or download links.

Is ECU.EXPERT meant for workshops?
